Position: Control Plane Software Developer Location: Littleton, MA & Austin, TX Duration long-term No H1's Job Description: The candidate will design, document, implement, test, and deliver compute solutions for the IBM cloud control plane as a member of the Client Success Team. Responsibilities will include root cause investigation, resolution, and remediation of issues reported internally and externally by customers; enhancements to diagnostic software and tools for quicker root cause determination, development to ensure reliability and stability of the compute virtualization software architecture and components with a zero downtime goal. Areas of responsibility will include but are not limited to the following: Client reported issues in the areas of VM lifecycle, failure scenario detection and remediation, non-disruptive software upgrade, guest OS images, guest custom images, QoS, and the virtualization stack.
