job summary:An East Tennessee health system is seeking a clinical applications analyst to analyze, implement, integrate, maintain, and/or support clinical technology regarding cariology and radiology. This may include Epic modules Cupid and Radiant, PACS, or VAN technology. This professional will support project-based initiatives and be at the forefront of driving change and progress in the healthcare field. location: KINGSPORT, Tennesseejob type: Contractsalary: $65 - 90 per hourwork hours: 8am to 5pmeducation: Associates responsibilities:- Work to ensure the system meets the organization's business needs - Understand the choices involved in application specifications - Perform in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues - Investigate end users' preference while making build decisions - Analyze business operations as they relate to build decisions - Prioritize and implement requested changes to the system - Analyze new functionality in releases to determine how it should be used - Review software - Coordinate software updates and changes - Review and test each new release. - Collect information regarding potential system enhancement needs - Prepare details of specifications as needed - Ensure that data coming across an interface meets the business need - Maintain Follow established rules for how each new version is released - Follow established change control processes and procedures for the system - Participate in training and work with end users - Troubleshoot problems and questions from end users - Work with report writers to ensure that the application has the necessary reports. - Be responsible for timely management of all assignments, including ticket management and maintaining an up to date status in tracking system. Tracks time to work efforts assigned and maintains time card appropriatelyThe essential functions of this role include:
