Job Description

The

• Maintains the appearance and order of assigned public areas by sweeping, mopping, cleaning, changing garbage cans, etc.
• Follows chemical use, equipment, cleaning, and safety procedures; Reports any hazardous conditions appropriately.
• Assists guests transport luggage and other items.
• Provides guests with excellent customer service; Responds to guests in a professional manner.
• Transports products, location items, and guest luggage using a push cart and various forms of transportation.
• Completes special projects as required.
• Knows and follows all company, Environmental, Health, and Safety Management Programs and policies.
• Works extra shifts and hours as required.
• Assists in other departments as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Read, write, speak and understand basic English.
• A valid Driver’s License may be required.
• Ability to remain organized and work with a minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of and ability to operate cleaning equipment; Skill in operation of floor care and cleaning equipment.
• Ability to drive various on-property vehicles; Must have valid driver's license, as required.

• Must be able to understand normal conversation and accurately communicate information.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
• Ability to stand and walk on paved, unpaved, uneven and sometimes slippery surfaces for extended periods of time.
• Ability to kneel, squat, stoop, crouch, turn/twist, push, pull, grasp, flex wrist and elbow, reach down, forward and overhead repetitively.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds repetitively.
• Must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle where required.
• The worker is subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions: Adverse conditions may include extreme heat and/or cold, wind, humidity and sometimes inclement weather.

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent, or previous custodial, housekeeping, customer service or related work experience, or equivalent combination of work experience and education preferred.
