Primary duties include:

Ongoing management and enforcement of established program and procedures

Metrology, inspection (visual and functional)

Supervise two shift inspectors

Direct customer and supplier support

Maintenance of ISO 9001 and 13485 registration, compliance and audits

Maintain calibration, first article, internal auditing and training programs

Lead Material Review Board and Management Review

Support production and administration departments

Prerequisite qualifications:

Solid work ethic - The position is considered critical to production

Ten years’ experience in quality programs within a manufacturing environment

Fluency in ISO program management and implementation; cleanroom / medical preferred

Practical understanding of precision tooling, and plastics injection molding

Intermediate to advanced understanding of ERP systems, IQMS preferred

Understanding of Medical Device / FDA program requirements

Team leadership and discipline

Familiarity with OSHA safety requirements and practical applications

Specific skills:

Strong multitasking ability with a high level of organization

Clear and effective communication for a diverse audience: professional to shop floor

Practical balance of customer requirements and production realities

Ability to maintain poise in a fast paced, challenging production environment

Understanding of process control from RFQ through PO, WO, SO and MRB, RMA and CAPA

Windows based office environment with high end metrology equipment
