CONTRACT - TO - PERMANENTHourly Rate: $19Shift: 1st, 7 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - FridayJob Summary: Provide clerical support to the Shipping Department in a manufacturing environment.
Essential Functions:
Process shipping documents.
Arrange carrier pick-ups.
Maintain shipping information in central computer.
Maintain organization-shipping documents.
Clerical services (filing, copying, faxing, etc.)
Other duties as assigned.
Experience, Skill and Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Proficient in variouscomputer programs
5 years shipping experience in a manufacturing or similar work environment, to includearranging for carrier pickups, processing shipping documents, entering shipping data into computer programs
Clerical experience to include filing, making copies, sending faxes, data input in computer programs.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
Need to sit or stand as needed
Occasional bending, kneeling or crouching
Occasional lifting of items not to exceed 25 pounds
Primary environment is a combination of office and manufacturing
Other Requirements:
ESD Awareness
HMIS / Safety
ISO Awareness / FDA / BABT
U.S. Citizen; able to pass drug testing and background check (no felony convictions)
