ProAg Bankware Technologies is an emerging fintech company based in Omaha, NE. Locally owned and operated, we provide financial institutions with the means to automate typically manual tasks as well as revamping the lending experience for lenders and borrowers. Our first to the market and unique software experience allows bankers and their clients to achieve better relationships by making the loan process more transparent, easier to navigate, and by giving the borrower the ability to track their financial performance year over year.DepartmentThe position of VP of Software Sales is part of the ProAg Bankware Technologies sales team. The team is charged with growing and managing new and existing relationships with financial institutions of all sizes.Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for, initially, creating new leads for software demonstrations performed by senior sales staff. Once the new hire learns the product sufficiently, they will progress to performing their own demos and owning the client relationship. Key activities include identifying and qualifying prospects, initiating new sales activity, and contributing to sales cycle management to closure. The successful candidate will excel at cold calling and rapport building.

  • Drive the development of business within the assigned territories.
  • Build relationships across client and prospect organizations to maintain desired pipeline levels.
  • Work closely with development team to stay educated on new features and benefits.
  • Collaborate with development team to promote improvements in product line.
  • Provide product/service use cases during the sales cycle.
  • Position will require travel as the candidate evolves into senior sales role (approximately 20% to 40% of your time - Covid permitting)
Qualifications
  • Experience in a heavy cold call environment.
  • 5 years of business to business sales – bonus if target clients were in the financial industry or if candidate has experience as an ag or commercial lender.
  • Solid understanding of the sales process
  • Ability to present high-level information as well as detailed demonstrations of products & services over the phone, virtually, and in person.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment, with focus and high attention to detail.
