job summary:The Senior Lead UX Researcher will partner with Interaction Designers, Visual Designers, Product Owners, Developers and Marketers across the company to provide data-driven research that advocates for excellence in customer experience.The Senior Lead UX Researcher will achieve this by independently strategizing, designing, executing, analyzing, and presenting research studies. Methods employed will include A/B testing, qualitative and quantitative surveying, data analysis, moderated and unmoderated usability testing, interviews and more.

Responsibilities:
  • Independently create research strategy based on project goals
  • Select the best research methods based on project strategy and goals
  • Create test plans based on research strategy and selected medium
  • Implement and execute research strategies in different research tools such as Survey Monkey and UserTesting.com
  • Quickly and efficiently analyze research data to provide and communicate impactful research insights
  • Effectively present and communicate actionable findings to stakeholders of varying backgrounds to drive positive change
  • Propose new research projects based on insights derived from prior / existing projects
  • Propose new research tools to help continue to grow the team's skill set and value

Must have skills/qualifications:
  • 7+ years of user experience research
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with strategizing, implementing, executing, analyzing, and presenting qualitative and quantitative research
  • Ability to execute and complete projects quicky and efficiently
  • strong ability to sift through the data and uncover valuable findings and insights
  • strong listening, analytical, and organizational skills with the ability to communicate and present research findings clearly to various audiences and levels of the organization
  • Self-starter, highly organized with great attention to detail
  • Relentless curiosity about customers and their behaviors
  • Passion for great design

Experience with any of the following is a bonus, but not required:
  • strong statistical background
  • Design best practice knowledge
  • Degree or in-depth course work in UX Research, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or a closely related field.
  • Experience in the Telecommunications Industry

  • Work efficiently and effectively with a variety of teams to explain research methods, help them understand research techniques and get project documentation approved quickly
  • Relentlessly advocate for the customer
  • Advocate internally for projects to be designed and executed based on data-driven customer research
  • Contribute ideas to improve research team process, structure, output and overall value to the company
  • Review and provide feedback on research from other researchers, as needed
  • Work with outside vendors, as needed, to execute and complete research
  • Train team, interns and junior research staff, as needed, on different aspects of the research process
