Licensed Real Estate Assistant Wanted To Manage Team Operations
California, Los angeles , 90001 Los angeles USA

Vacancy expired!

Our busy real estate team in Los Angeles is seeking a motivated, hard working, ORGANIZED assistant to essentially run all of our back end. MEANING: we bring-in the listings and you keep the wheels turning for us. Examples of tasks:

-Writing Offers

-Writing Listing Agreements

-Working with our Marketing Rep to put together listing packages and/or marketing campaigns

-Following up and logging all agent calls we get on our listings

-Connecting us with hot leads who call in - so we can try to sell them a property

-Managing escrow timelines, paperwork etc.

-Taking meeting notes for calls or meetings you sit in on - then creating/implementing followup task lists

-Reviewing offers when they come in and giving us a summary report

-Keeping hard copy and digital files of everything organized, with reports

-Prepare weekly summary reports for our clients showing how many calls, emails, inquiries, offers, etc., we received throughout the week on their listing. (emailed to the client by you so that we can followup and call them to discuss)

-Communicating with our outside vendors: escrow office, title company, photographer, termite, home inspectors, TCs

We have a 3rd party TC / Transaction Coordinator who we have been using for years. Our plan is to continue using her. SO, you won't need to be our TC, but you will need to know how to work with our TC, meaning staying on top of her work load, communicating, working with her to make sure we don't miss deadlines, enforcing contingency removal dates, etc. etc.

You DO need to know how to use CAR Winforms/Zipforms and the MLS (including how to enter listings).

You DO need to know how to review an offer, write an offer, how to generally navigate through an escrow transaction. We assume if you have a number of years as a licensed agent, that presumably you have sold or been involved in a number of other transactions. We aren't saying you need to have 30 years of experience, but this can't be your first job in real estate because we're way too busy to train someone from scratch. Someone with at least a few years experience who has a foundation in residential resale transactions is our ideal candidate!

Just so we are clear, our job as the team leaders is to get listings, communicate with our clients, speak to buyers who want information on our listings, etc. Your job is to be the glue that holds everything else together - at all times. so that we don't have to think about using the computer or doing any paperwork or keeping anything organized or remembering a timeline, etc.

Our name is Skymark Real Estate and we are led by two Realtors who each have about 15 years experience in the business. In addition to having this real estate team, we also have a construction company- which is why we stay very busy. Given our proximity to construction, we tend to get listings from other builders. FOR EXAMPLE, we have a client right now building a small tract of 8 homes near Anaheim, and we have the listing to sell all 8 properties.

This is a job where you will be required to come into work every day, NO EXCEPTIONS. We've tried the virtual thing and it doesn't work for us. We are happy to social distance and wear masks, etc., (whatever is required to be safe) but there is no option for working at home with this position. We need to see you at a desk every day with a white board, your computer, a stack of files, your to-do list etc (living and breathing our listings 8 hours a day)

Currently our office is a small location in Koreatown - near say Wilshire and Western. However, we plan to soon find a new office somewhere between Beverly Hills and Downtown LA (along the 10 freeway, enclosed in the 405, 101 and 110 freeways). Our new office will be larger and you'll probably have a private office but until then you'll be at a desk in a shared room with us in the current smaller location.

PAY: We are looking to pay a flat monthly amount (every two weeks), plus a bonus structure on each closing. Our initial thought was $3,000 a month or $1,500 every two weeks (1099, so no taxes taken out) plus a bonus structure to get you closer to $5,000-$6,000 total, a month, based on closing a few transactions monthly. So maybe $1,000 in bonus per deal. We will fine tune this before you accept the offer This for the first year and then of course we will evaluate from there! (total pay of $60,000-$70,000 estimated year one)

Other benefits:

-More responsibility and more pay as time goes one

-Weekends off

-Guaranteed pay each month even if we don't sell anything

-Set hours throughout the week (8AM-4PM or 9AM-5PM etc.)

-You get to work for a group of guys that have lots of different ventures and who may allow you to move to one of our other companies over time if you take an interest in construction, development or other areas within our umbrella.

-We're fun guys. (we think haha). A little demanding at times but we're fun

Inquire today. please, in addition to your resume, send us a 30 second video (you can shoot it as a selfie on your iPone) telling us why you'd be a fit MUST BE LICENSED IN CALIFORNIA! (DRE).

Thanks
