IPwe: IPwe is a well-funded global intellectual property (IP) analytics and transactions platform company. Our technology is proven in over a billion dollars of IP financing, acquisition and licensing transactions where our founders have acted as principals. While we are primarily focused on finance and data products, we also have solutions that are focused on small and medium sized IP law firms and legal departments. These products are meant to help make these IP firms and legal departments more productive at acceptable price points and include other features and services that allow these firms and departments to succeed in a brutally competitive market. You will have the opportunity to work with leading experts in AI, data science, enterprise blockchain, finance and IP.

We currently have a sales team of five people in US and EP; in the process of hiring five more in China. You will have support from our product managers and customer success agents who also communicate on weekly basis with our development team and executives.

Responsibilities: You will be interacting with small and medium sized IP law firms and company legal departments. You will be responsible for US, EU and LATAM sales for IPwe’s legal products. This is an important position, and you will have direct input on method, design and process in making your sales vertical a success. All of us at IPwe understand that we work for our clients and our sales team members.

You must be capable of working in a fast paced, agile environment where you will be expected to execute without significant supervision. You will apply your experience to effectively and intelligently communicate a product offering that is easily understood and also includes other attributes that are designed to get engagement from senior IP law firm management.

You will be in charge of building and managing our IPwe Partner Network with patent law firms. You will be selling our IPwe Docketing system, a SaaS product. Also, you will be selling consulting services and patent reports.

Location: While you will always be welcome in any one of our global offices, but this will be a virtual position where you can easily work from home or any location you may choose.

Work Experience: At least 3 years of relevant patent sales experience is required. Relevant experience includes selling 1. patent software subscriptions or 2. patent search/prosecution/consulting services to law firms or companies.

Key Qualifications: Fluent in English. Clear oral and written communication.

Big Plus: If you worked for an IP legal software startup/company/law firm/patent search firm in the last 3 years

Compensation: Competitive salary commensurate with experience including base, equity, sales commission, bonus and benefits.
