Financial Accountant

Work for the best! Idaho Housing and Finance Association has an opening for a Financial Accountant in Boise, ID.

Responsibilities:

Daily reconcile lockbox, principal, interest, tax, insurance, and general services funds of general ledger to Servicing Software (LSAMS).

Maintain and update the Macro file between Servicing Software and JDEdwards.

Reconcile and process bank transfers for loan buy ups/downs, guaranty fees, and REO advances.

Prepare and post journal entries as needed.

Reconcile and remit funds monthly to investors and partner states.

Responsible for the integrity of the Association's general ledger.

Responsible for accurate and timely preparation of audit-related PBC's and confirms.

Research and clear stale-dated checks for all IHFA bank accounts.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance preferred or related work experience.

Familiarity with accounting software.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.

Understanding of financial and accounting principles.

Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail.

Ability to present and explain information to team members and others.

Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

Be able to meet deadlines and manage changing priorities.
