Shipping & Receiving Inventory Supervisor

Small Food manufacturing company located in Las Vegas, NV is growing and looking for a Warehouse Supervisor.

This is a permanent position, setting up warehouse will be a big part of the role, however with our growth we will need additional support in shipping/receiving and inventory.

Responsibilities:

Ability to maintain and manage all warehouse functions

Must be able to plan and coordinate work, train and motivate associates.

Adjust staffing needs as required to meet workflow, utilizing temp staffing as needed

Have a full understanding of shipping and receiving

Be hands on with receiving and offloading trucks.

Maintain all inventory of Raw materials

Conduct cycle counts and manage inventory integrity.

Effective communication with all departments

Problem solve and implement techniques/procedures to improve efficiencies.

Identify work-flow gaps and implement procedures to address deficiencies.

Promote an environment where safety is paramount.

Skills:

A minimum of 2 years’ experience supervising a team in a warehouse.

Experience with addressing performance issues.

Experience with handheld scanners and computerized system is a must.

Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel is a must

Forklift experience or other MHE experience is required.

Must be able to delegate effectively & maintain procedures with all personnel.

Ability to perform & work in a fast-paced environment.

Must be a team player with problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task.

Organized, great attention to detail and accurate data entry.

Hands on, Willing to roll sleeves up and pitch in with any task necessary.

Must be able to lift 75lbs.
