Live In Country Caregiver

My father is 81 years old & suffers from Parkinson's disease. He's easy-going good hearing bad vision. Mobility is limited need to be able to transfer from bed to chair chair to wheelchair. We would like somebody to interact with him & keep him active getting the blood flowing in his body, bath and groom 1 per wk toileting, light housekeeping having meals prepared. My sister lives there and she is his primary caregiver. We need to give her a break.

We would like you to be responsible during this pandemic. We limit our exposure and hardly interact with others for our fathers health. Our property is on 2 acres with 2 dogs and 4 chickens. My father is a Navy veteran loves animals and his family. We love him a lot & hope you'll end up love him too.

We would like a live-in for 2-4 days per week depending on your schedule.

Duties

Must be physically strong and able to work independently

As a caregiver, you will provide the following services:

Caring companionship and conversation

Transfer

Transportation (errands, appointments, etc.)

Meal preparation and planning

housekeeping

Laundry

Medication reminders

Personal Care: Bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.

Additional:

Must be willing to change briefs

Experience with spongebath/bedbath preferred.

Alzheimers/Dementia Care experience a plus
