Small accounting firm in Waikoloa, providing complete accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, and tax services seeks experienced accounting professional to help manage our exponential growth over the past few years. This position could be either part time or full time and hours can be flexible for the right person.
Job Description:
Provide monthly full charge bookkeeping services through financial statements for various clients.
Includes general clerical and administrative tasks for support of remote employees and their workflow.
Manage periodic business, general excise, transient accommodations and payroll tax filings.
Assist in developing internal procedures and checklists to ensure compliance with multiple agencies.
Support tax department by providing assistance on tax write up for business and individual clients.
Qualifications:
Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail
Critical thinking, problem solving, and organizational skills
Excellent verbal as well as written communication skills
Working knowledge of business machines and online business services
Proficient in payroll tax forms and filings preferably multiple states
Flexibility to manage multiple deadlines & shifting priorities
AA in Accounting from accredited College preferred
2 years accounting experience preferred
Tax return knowledge a plus
Proficient with QuickBooks desktop and online versions
Proficient with Microsoft Office Products
