Job Description

A Renaissance Consultant delivers high-quality, onsite and virtual Professional Development and consulting services on a per-diem basis, to promote best practices with Renaissance solutions including Freckle, myON Reader, Star360, and Accelerated Reader. The successful candidate has experience with Renaissance solutions and is a polished facilitator who understands how to work with educational stakeholders. Additionally, the successful candidate is available to accept assignments on a regular basis throughout the year and has additional availability to attend internal training events.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide high quality on-site and virtual professional learning events for new and current users
  • Deliver professional learning on best practices for product usage
  • Engage learners through personalized onsite and virtual Professional Development and consulting services
  • Coordinate professional development and technical services
  • Maintain accurate records and complete all required documentation
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Facilitate engaging professional development utilizing adult learning theory

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or related field
  • Classroom and/or administrative experience
  • Superb presentation and facilitation skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, customer service and relationship building at all levels within the school system
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Proximity (within 1 hour) from a major airport

Bonus points for:

  • Successfully implementing Renaissance Solutions (Freckle, myON, Star 360, Accelerated Reader, myIGDI’s, and Schoolzilla)
