This opportunity may be for you!MSMNET Security is looking for a Federal Business Development Manager to support our firm in the Washington DC area. We are seeking a motivated partner to guide the entire life cycle of Federal sales, including opportunity identification and development, capture, partnering, positioning, RFI/RFP response, proposal management, compliance checking, and orals preparation. In this position you will work directly with the SVP Cybersecurity Sales and have significant opportunities for ongoing profit sharing of up to 40%.This position demands understanding and experience in all areas of Federal lead identification, capture, and proposal management. Success in this position will include significant opportunities for advancement and recognition.Responsibilities will include:
  • Identify suitable teaming partners that can be leveraged to win Federal opportunities.
  • Be active in the market and a strong representative of our company. Use your knowledge of the Federal consulting space to position yourself for long-term financial independence.
  • Engaging with customers, primes, and partners on capture activities from inception to win by exemplifying your leadership and knowledge of Federal Contracting.
  • We provide you with tools to grow your pipeline through the identification and qualification of new business opportunities that are consistent with company strategic priorities.
Minimum Required Experience and Skills
  • 10 years Federal Business Development of experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Proven track record of experience and success
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to effectively execute in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative
  • Experience with systems including GovWin IQ ,FBO.gov and e-Buy
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Cloud based document sharing
Preferred Experience and Skills
  • Experience selling Cybersecurity, Network Monitoring and Support, GRC and IT Staffing
