Tool Room Associate

JOB SUMMARY:

Tool Room Associate is responsible accounting for supplies, storing, issuing, tools and equipment, and organizing the Tool Room.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Checking tools and supplies in and out of tool room

Uses a check system for accounting of hand and power tools, supplies and materials.

Examines tool items for wear, defects and damage.

Maintains the tool room and area clean and well organized.

Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience working with tools management a plus.

Able to lift or move up to 75 pounds.

Able to work in various types of weather conditions.

Standing for long periods of time

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Knowledge of the characteristics and use of tools, expendable supplies, and portable power equipment.

Ability to maintain the tool room and its contents in a clean and orderly condition.

Maintain count and inventory of tools
