Title: Revenue Cycle Analyst/Charging LeadFull-Time/Direct Hire OpportunityLocation: Sacramento, CA 95838 (remote during COVID)Start Date: ASAPNo C2C/Corp-to-CorpMust be authorized to work in USResponsibilities: Responsible for Epic Resolute application as the technical leader for build, support, and maintenance in combination with support related to the transition to Clinically-driven charging and away from manual coding that is managed by coding teams. Performs a variety of duties relating to the Revenue Cycle Information Systems applications and the support for EMR Clinical Orders and Clinically-driven charging. Leading and assisting with process development, strategic planning, analysis, testing, implementation, and support of information systems for the organization Project management, planning, development, testing, implementation, and evaluation of application functionality. Works with the team and key customers to ensure appropriate development, testing, training, and implementation of application functionality. Available to answer project questions, give guidance on projects and general next steps, as well as provide detailed status to the team manager and Executives where required. Oversee the Charging Project teams daily responsibilities to ensure tasks are completed on time and will escalate to manager as necessary. As a technical leader, may manage programs that include formulating strategies and administering polices, processes and resources. The leader functions with a high degree of autonomy. Assist the clinical departments and information technology partners (IT leadership, clinical chairs and department staff) to support the departments Revenue Cycle Information Systems applications. Prioritize all incoming project work in alignment to the greatest financial impact to the organization. Partner with project teams and departments to prepare cash flow worksheets, requirements and project plans and will assist in the management of projects from design to deployment.Required Qualifications: Associate or bachelor degree in Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience. EPIC Charger or Resolute Certification is a plus Broadly encompassing or highly in-depth knowledge of 1-2 areas of focus in clinical applications specialty area(s) related to revenue cycle. Experience implementing and supporting electronic medical record systems. Knowledge of operations, systems and functions, including planning, design, development, implementation, user support and training, maintenance, quality assurance, and system testing and evaluation supporting healthcare revenue cycle. Knowledge of quality tools and experience in business or clinical process improvement initiatives. Participation in an implementation of an activity or strategy in a department, hospital or system environment. Advanced interpersonal communication skills to effectively train, support, and collaborate productively with clinical and revenue cycle users, and key stakeholders at all professional and technical levels. Skills or experience demonstrating advanced application of adult learning principles and system design standards. Experience demonstrating knowledge of business operations and end-user requirements to improve or develop system design and training projects. Ability to apply advanced problem-resolution skills to highly complex issues, quickly diagnose problems, and develop, test and implement appropriate and effective solutions in a timely manner. Advanced written and verbal communications skills, to convey highly-technical information and instructions to all levels of clinical and revenue cycle users and staff in a specific, clear, and concise manner.
