FINISH BLADE OPERATOR

Labor Systems is now hiring for experienced Finish Blade Operators with the ability to safely and efficiently operate a motor grader for either rough or fine grade finishing. This includes the ability to remove old surfaces as well as spread and process materials to construct street/road surfaces to precise grade specifications. Will also be responsible for daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment and worksite.

Job Duties for Heavy Equipment Operator Include but are not Limited to:

Operates heavy equipment: includes running, maneuvering, navigating, and driving.

Operators inspect heavy equipment: includes structures and materials; identifies causes of errors and other problems or defects.

Operators monitor information: includes materials, events, or environment; detects or assesses problems associated with heavy equipment.

Reviews information related to heavy equipment.

Operators identify information: includes categorizing, estimating, and recognizing differences or similarities in heavy equipment; detects changes in circumstances or events.

Operators will learn and follow safety regulations.

Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects.

Locate underground services, such as pipes or wires, prior to beginning work.

Monitor operations to ensure that health and safety standards are met.

Adjust hand wheels and depress pedals to control attachments, such as blades, buckets, scrapers, or swing booms.

Requirements for Heavy Equipment Operator:

3 to 4 years experience operating heavy equipment and willing to submit to a drug screen.

Apply Monday - Thursday from 5 am to 10 am, and Fridays from 5 am to 3 pm at Labor Systems Temporary Services, 1146 Hwy 95, Ste. 139, Bullhead City, AZ.
