Serving customers of Cisco as an Industry leader in Networking, Security, IoT - the role has global impact.Who You areThe Data Platform team is seeking a Principal Engineer who has unique opportunity to work across the spectrum of Data Domains from ingestion to intelligence. You will be focused on interfacing with engineering, product, operations, and risk and control teams, as necessary to support the entire software development life cycle.You are an innovative get-things-done technologist, who would drive our architecture and pave our paths for what is possible, what is most valuable, and where to leverage these techniques in our platform, from vision through to technical architecture and delivery via deep partnership with the Product Management and engineering teams.What you will doLead Digital Intelligence Architecture work by collaborating with Product Management, Distinguished Engineers and Domain Architects

Optimizes quality and productivity by designing, implementing and testing new and/or uplifting processes and procedures

Work across organizational boundaries, articulate views/roadmaps, and understand the interaction between various initiatives to deliver solution

Build effective coalitions with key stakeholders at various levels in a matrixed environment, leading to better alignment and quality and faster deliverables

Govern the adoption of processes and drive continuous improvement

Communicate effectively across all levels (within the team, to cross-functional partners, to leadership / executives)

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

BS or engineering or equivalent degree

5+ years’ experience leading complex cross-organizational projects with a track record of successful delivery on large cloud scale capabilities

Experience working with real time, streaming , complex event processing, Advanced Analytics, AI, ML in private and public cloud environments

Preferred qualification

Initiative and ownership: Ability to act with limited oversight on day-to-day basis, balancing multiple priorities

Results-first attitude: Motivated to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

Controls or audit: Experience with guiding technology products through a ethical data use

Advanced experience: Technical leadership to drive excellence of enterprise level software

A hands-on, practical approach to software and technology. You code. You deploy. You integrate.
