Our client in Dallas TX is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with at least 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst and
has experience implementing/integrating Salesforce. You will be able to work remotely until it is safe to go to an office.This client moves quickly with interviews and hiring decisions and has a track record of extending contracts. This will start as a 6 month contract.Responsibilities:- Collaborate with stakeholders from all levels and departments within the organization to understand current business processes, document processes, recommend improvements for those processes, and identify metrics to measure adherence to the established processes.
- Conduct business process analyses and business process mapping. Define and document business and IT system processes. Model AS-IS and TO-BE processes.
- Conducts gap analysis and uses analytical skills to identify root cause
- Effectively use interviewing skills to fully explore the business problem to understand the technical needs of a software development project
- Conduct interviews with key stakeholders and users and manage the process for collecting and defining requirements while maintaining product backlog
- Conduct review meetings and obtain approvals from stakeholders for functional and non-functional requirements
- Conducts JADs and JARs to brainstorm ideas
- Address and communicate conflicting business needs and dependencies
- Analyze data and provide summaries to leadership to drive informed decision-making regarding process improvement efforts.
- Provide advice on areas for improvement within business processes, including actionable plans to implement recommendations.
- Proven expertise with business and technical requirements analysis, modeling, and methodology development
- Conducts Story Telling sessions with the Technical team to align on the requirement
- Conducts UATs and collects sign offs for Production Releases
- Prepares high level user documentation and training materials.
- 10+ years of experience in a business analyst and/or IT business consultant role (there is flexibility on this)
- Salesforce Administrator certification
- Must possess very strong communication and problem solving skills
- Experience in Salesforce projects/domain
- Experience gathering requirements remotely/online
- Must possess strong experience with SQL and SQL Queries
- Must have strong Data Analysis skills
- Ability to work within and in support of a team environment
- Ability to map out the system processes without relying on any existing documentation
- Experience using BPMN methodology and tools
- Experience with business process reengineering initiatives; modeling and analyzing (as-is/to-be) processes, mapping primary and exception workflows, and identifying business rules is required
- Experience with systems project management preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work effectively
