Your role is to know and love Ruby on Rails and JavaScript for our platform. Responsibilities:

• To add new and fresh features to our applications, while making sure that it is scalable and robust enough to handle up to hundreds of thousands of users.
• Real-time video sharing capability.
• Using Stripe, Kouduku, and Paypal for Merchant Services
• Understanding of membership platforms.
• Implement product features on both our mobile and web client applications and backend services alike.
• Help Monitor the systems daily and respond immediately to security/usability concerns.
• Assist in infrastructure buildouts and maintenance.

• 3+ years application experience with Ruby on Rails
• 3+ years full stack experience
• Deep understanding of JavaScript/ES6/TypeScript
• Deep understanding of modern security best practices
• Experience with MySQL and/or NoSQL (MongoDB)
• Ability to breakdown and articulate solutions to complex problems
• Knack for writing clean, readable, maintainable and reusable code
• Willingness to learn and teach
• Desire to be involved in product definition
• Natural Problem Solver
• Strong sense of urgency in a professional setting
