Senior Accountant

Beartooth Group (www.beartoothgroup) is looking for a highly experienced, very capable, hard-working, part-time, Senior Accountant.

Job Summary: Estimated to be roughly 3/5ths time at steady state, Senior Accountant to manage all aspects of the firms multi-faceted accounting. Pay to correspond with experience.

Responsibilities:

-Perform the day-to-day accounting operations for the firm’s multiple entities (ranging from a beef business to multiple impact investment funds), including but not limited to:

-Perform the monthly and annual close process

-Prepare reports for and support internal and external constituents (ranging from auditors and tax preparers to investors)

-Capital Calls & Distributions

Job requirements:

-Demonstrated thorough understanding of accounting fundamentals

-College level degree in accounting required and a graduate degree (or equivalent experience) preferred

-Experience with consolidated entities, preference for investment fund experience

-Current (or, prior) position as Senior Accountant in an accounting firm, the accounting department of a larger firm and/or independent contractor playing one of these roles

-Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office products, including an advanced understanding and usage of Excel

-Quickbooks mastery is required
