The Opportunity - Rebate Specialist

Western Paperis currently seeking to fill an open Rebate Specialist position. This is an outstanding opportunity for motivated and talented applicants! As aRebate Specialistyou'll spend your day supporting the PricingTeam through loading and maintaining customer contract information in our systems. This role also involves analysis and investigation as you process vendor rebates.

Western Paper is anEssential Businessandwill remain open and continue to serve our customers, which include grocery stores and hospitals, to provide necessary supplies.

To be successful in this role you must exhibit the following skills:

The ability to follow policy/procedure and recognize when a task is requiring deviation

Comfortable with high volume and speed and accuracy during task completion

Demonstrate attention to detailto identify discrepancies between two datasets

Ability to explain and disseminate complex scenarios

Strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

Successfully manage multiple competing priorities on a daily basis and stay within pre-determined deadlines

Preferred Experience:

Experience working in distribution a plus

Knowledge of Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO) a plus

Previous experience navigating between the customer and supplier sides of a company a plus

MS Excel 1 year min. Knowledge of functions.

ERP system experience a plus

Experience working with vendor costs highly desired
