Hardware Installer

Installation of all mortise and cylindrical-type lock sets, passage, privacy, and dummy sets, barn slider hardware, and all types of hinges

Installation of all handmade metal grillwork, metal accents, clavos, and other decorative metal

Installation of all kitchen cabinet drawer boxes, glides, hardware and accessories

Installation of all glass and mirror

Installation of all weather stripping and smoke seal.

Unpacks, inspects, labels, photographs and securely stores all hardware, glass, mirror, drawer boxes, lighting and related project specific orders

Checks Production Manager’s order sheet with packing list and actual product received, and signs off on delivery; gives packing list to Finance Manager.

Bins all received hardware items as instructed.

Keeps track of all hardware once patina has been applied and ensures all parts are kept together.

Maintains an organized and clean hardware cage that houses items only for current and upcoming projects.

Perform finish touch-up upon completion of hardware and glass installation.

Advises appropriate supervisor of need to reorder all standard consumable hardware and glass related products (ie, hinges, clavos, silicone, ring pulls, weatherstripping, etc).

Must have the critical thinking skills required to visualize a project from start to finish, foresee and trouble shoot any potential issues, ask the right questions, and prioritize schedule to complete tasks in assigned amount of time.
