- Ensure that all contractual requirements, work products, and deliverables are met
- Ensure that projects are completed on schedule and within budget
- Provide day-to-day project management support
- Creation of project documentation: daily, weekly, semi-monthly and monthly status reports
- Maintain project schedules and plans, meeting minutes, risks and issues, and other documentation as needed
- Activity and resource planning, monitor project deliverables, conduct cost/benefit analysis
- Analyze project risks and issues to help identify ways to mitigate those risks
- Direct project management activities include developing and updating a detailed project plan; managing resources; scheduling activities; writing status reports; managing risks; managing change control; and facilitating team and customer meetings
- Manage communications both internally (among team members and subcontractors) and with customers, including meeting facilitation, documentation, etc.
- Develop and maintain documents and schedules for projects
- Ensure all aspects of the project life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, implementation and documentation, are completed according to required timeframes
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or another related field
- Experience and expertise in overseeing the project lifecycle activities
- MANDATORY: 2+ years leading process analysis efforts during projects and creating cost/benefit analysis documentation for technical projects
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.)
- Documented project leadership experience and expertise in keeping a project going forward through the project lifecycle
- Previous experience working as a Project Manager on government healthcare or Medicaid/MMIS projects (preferred)
- Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools
- Experience soliciting, documenting, and validating business requirements
- Able to translate business requirements into system design features
- Excellent communication skills (oral/written) and able to interact with multiple teams in a diverse setting encompassing both technical and non-technical users
- Must be willing to work independently and/or as part of a team in an energetic, team-oriented environment managing systems of varying size and complexity with a fast turn-around time
