Personnel Source is looking for an Accounting Tech for our Eugene client!
This position is full-time, Mon-Fri, $17-22/hr. DOEDuties include but are not limited to:
1. Responsible for all aspects of Accounts Payable – entering invoices, statement review, credit card statements and processing payment
2. Vendor file maintenance including W9’s
3. Prepare and file the annual IRS Form 1099
4. Review and process monthly reimbursements
5. Responsible for all aspects of Accounts Receivable
6. Create and send invoices to customers
7. Process customer deposits
8. Process customer credits
9. Reconcile invoices to inventory items
10. Daily deposits
11. E-Commerce web-site process payments
12. Accounts receivable collections.
13. Responsible for Inventory reviewing costs and customer pricing
14. Process sales order builds
15. Review open item receipts and make corrections
16. Order office supplies
17. Assist in analyzing freight and logistics costs
18. Assist with capital asset requests
19. Assist with payroll, enter employee timesheets, process employee advances, process related withholding payables, audit payroll data output, maintain confidential payroll information and distribute payroll checks
20. Monthly maintenance of unclaimed property and annual filing with the state
21. Assist with reviewing and monitoring of accounting policies and internal controls
22. Identify finance/accounting-related problem situations and make recommendations for solutions
23. Perform additional duties as requested
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Associates Degree in Accounting preferred or equivalent combination of education and five years of experience in general accounting, accounts payables, and reconciliations.
2. Significant knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, regulations and internal controls.
3. Ability to organize work and meet stringent schedules with minimum supervision.
4. Proficient with Microsoft Suite software and QuickBooks and experience with payroll software (ADP ideally) preffered.
5. Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, vendors and supervisors to accomplish tasks through teamwork, maintaining strict standards of confidentiality.
