Precision Capital is seeking a qualified Funding & Servicing Associate to join our team of professionals. Our model provides Private Money Real Estate Mortgage loans including residential, commercial, flips and construction. “Outside the box” scenarios are our specialty.
The Funding & Servicing Associate will serve as the bridge between Funding newly closed loans and Servicing existing loans. They will become familiar with both areas to serve as a backup to either position, but also to track and audit the details that connect the two to allow for a fluid process and transfer from one department to the next.
Primary Responsibilities:
Audit, notate and calendar follow up needs for newly funded loans to clarify the Servicing needs for each.
Review closed files for future hazard, liability and title insurance needs, especially for construction and rehab projects
Monitor “exit” timelines and project completion timelines for our loans
Assist Funding (or serve as an additional funder as volume requires) with:
o Reviewing closing statements, escrow instructions and drawn documents prior to loan funding
o Balancing with escrow
o Acquiring and verifying wiring instructions
o Ordering wires
Assist Servicing (or serve as an additional Servicing Specialist as volume requires) with:
o Tracking insurance renewals, coverage and lapses for all properties
o Tracking property tax accounts for all closed loans
o Managing documents for Modifications to Extend, Forbearance requests, Foreclosures and communication with our legal partners
Requirements:
No experience required but title/escrow, loan servicing, loss mitigation, funding, doc drawing or insurance is a plus
Needs to be very detail oriented, spreadsheet proficiency is preferred, math proficiency preferred
Good written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on customer relations
This position may require extended periods of sitting, as well as data entry at the computer screen.
