Staff Accountant

Gilliland & Associates, P.C. CPA seeks an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team. Qualified applicants need to have at least 5 years’ experience with individual and corporate tax preparation, bookkeeping, knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop and Online, Payroll, Word, Excel, and Outlook. CPA firm experience is required. The applicant needs to have a take-charge attitude, be an excellent communicator and very detailed oriented.

Qualifications:

1. MUST HAVE at least 5 years of public accounting experience including experience in individual and business income tax preparation. Experience in GAAP Audits is a plus

2. Experience with QuickBooks and ProSystem fx is a plus

3. Degree in Accounting

4. CPA or CPA candidate

5. Possesses good oral and written communication skills

6. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
