The Shipping & Receiving Technician is responsible for :

Receiving customer repair product and customer orders. This position is responsible for Production identification, Paperwork Job creation, labeling, and distribution to the necessary departments.

Retrieving AIV Sales orders, pulling the material, and accurately packaging and shipping AIV products while using Small package and LTL shipping services. This position is also responsible for inventory control and warehouse maintenance.

TANGIBLE SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND KNOWLEDGE

Required

Written and verbal communication – to understand written procedures, document results, interface with vendors and customers,

Ability to lift 50 lbs and handle shipping equipment – Banding equipment, floor

jacks, tape machines, and related equipment.

Able to stand, walk, reach, step, sit, and bend frequently throughout shift.

Basic PC knowledge.

Basic math skills.

INTANGIBLE ATTRIBUTES

Required

Ability to work independently and provide supervision to support personnel.

Smart / Quick Learner - able to teach themselves from prior experience and available sources of

information

Strong Organizational Skills.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Required

Minimum three months experience in a shipping, receiving or inventory handling environment.

Desired

Six months experience in a receiving position and six months experience in a shipping position with familiarity processing UPS, Fed Ex, DHL, International and LTL freight.
