  • Train, mentor, monitor, and supervise IS Support Technician(s).
  • Coordinate teams and assignments of resources and projects across projects and ensure all projects stay on target.
  • Conduct APMS evaluations for direct reports, including guidance toward reaching organizational and career goals.
  • Develop an annual Information Technology budget that conforms to the Advanced Group overall financial plan and our contribution to and support of AGs' overall financial goals.
  • Maximize productivity of direct reports to exceed AG budget goals.
  • Oversee the planning, development and implementation of new information systems.
  • Oversee the upgrade and ongoing maintenance activities of existing information systems.
  • Write training and establish training programs for new IS products and processes.
  • Identify possible areas where information systems could be used to improve current processes, or address new process requirements, then plan and implement systems to meet these needs.
  • Other global management responsibilities as requested by the Vice President.
  • Maintain administrative control for AC intranet and extranet information networks.
  • Responsible for ensuring the security and data integrity of AC's information systems.
  • Ensure periodic maintenance checks are completed in a timely fashion and documented in the appropriate logbook.
  • Ensure all new hardware has the appropriate antivirus software and security fixes installed and updated as directed.
  • Ensure system-wide backup and restore capabilities to ensure data accessibility and information systems services availability (i.e. file shares, database engines) during disaster recovery operations and unforeseen events as well as scheduling an unannounced annual Disaster Recovery Exercise.
  • Create and maintain all data backup hardware, schedules, and procedures.
  • Develop and test a Disaster Recovery Plan that minimizes or eliminates data loss and loss of operations to critical IT functions.
  • Identify and mitigate risk factors that may pose specific risk to the continued operations of AC.
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures surrounding the use of information systems throughout the organization.
  • Articulate an understanding of company system standard operating procedures and federal regulations during client audits.
  • Participation in the management team, responsibilities as assigned by the Vice President.
  • The ideal candidate should have a B.S., Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering with a minimum 7 years experience managing information technology resources and personnel.
  • They should have highly effective oral and written communication skills, and highly effective management skills.
  • They should have proficient computer hardware and software skills to including Microsoft Windows Network Operating Systems (NOS), Ethernet switches, routers, and access points.
  • It is desired that they hold MCSE Certification, and/or other industry certifications.
