The Senior Pricing Analyst is responsible for pricing and underwriting strategies and modeling for existing customers and potential clients. This individual is responsible for the pricing models, including evaluating financial guarantees, and innovative tools that streamline client decisions. This role will support the commercial risk and sales operation teams, frequently interact with senior leadership, and will be a key figure in the company by adding value to new and existing clients as they add to or enhance their business models.Responsibilities

• Support the commercial operations team with existing pricing models as well as help with the development and evaluation of alternative pricing structures
• Partnering with other internal clients on the continued improvement of the pricing process
• Drive business model and pricing strategy and policies to maximize profitability
• Work with senior leadership on accounting and finance revenue decisions as it relates to sales opportunities
• Support the sales team in developing pricing proposals, evaluating strategic options, and responding to customer RFP inquiries
• Partner with sales teams and operations managers in the commercial process for continued success
• Identifies organization's strengths and weaknesses in regards to pricing and suggests areas of improvement
• Collaborate with other members of the finance team in budget, forecast, and compliance decisions
• Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner
• Involvement in special projects, communication and overall organizational changes related to commercial pricing
• Capacity to embrace change and quickly adapt to new situations, changes in direction, and altering priorities
• Involvement in projects related to opportunity management and sales data
• Partnering with other internal clients such as contract and legal teams to expedite the client contracting process

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, or other related area
• 3+ years' experience in Pricing, Product Development, Underwriting, Actuarial, Finance, or other related areas
• 1+ years' experience with modeling and heavy data management
• Strong organizational and decision making skills with a high degree of mathematical aptitude
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial processes
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Advanced Excel skills required
• Attention to detail
• Ability to interact with senior management and key business users
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task
