The ideal candidate would have approximately 3-5 years of experience. This person must have prior experience working in residential new construction.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures and other plumbing used for water distribution and wastewater disposal in residential new construction, residential, commercial and industrial buildings. Work in a safe manner and keeps work area clean.
POSITION STATUS: Full-time, Non-Exempt

WORK LOCATION: Field
WORK HOURS: Varies
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems
Cut, assemble and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure (e.g. electrical wiring)
Install pipes and plumbing fixtures
Visually inspect equipment and operate test equipment such as pressure and vacuum gauges to determine the cause and location of trouble
Install and maintain water supply systems
Locate and repair issues with water supply lines (e.g. leaks)
Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets etc.
Repair domestic appliances (e.g. washing machines) and fixtures (e.g. sinks) etc.
Install and maintain gas and liquid heating systems (air-conditioning units, radiators etc.)
Install waste disposal and sanitary systems with well-functioning DWV systems
