Looking for an experienced caregiver to take care of my father who resides at a nursing home. My father is in a full vegetative state so he cannot talk or move. There is a full team of CNAs and nurses that care for my father already however I would like the caregiver to be the second pair of hands during rotations, showers and assisting the CNA in hoyer lifting my father into his wheelchair. The caregiver will be expected to do the following: help with rotations, help with showering, help with putting the patient into a wheelchair, ROM exercises twice a day, oral care, perineal care, shaving the patient's face and head, keeping the patient's hands and feet clean and dry, keeping accurate notes, keeping the nightstand fully stocked and keeping the nightstand and closet organized and clean, letting the family know when medical supplies are running low, periodically use FaceTime or zoom to video conference with the patient's family when the patient is being rotated, informing the family with any concerns and other tasks as assigned. Must be TB tested, Covid tested and have current flu vaccine. Must wear PPE. Must wear face mask over the nose and mouth (not just over the mouth). Note taking is a large part of this job so good penmanship and good writing skills as well as fluent English is a requirement of this job. Days and hours for this job:

Saturdays 9:30am to 2:30pm (shower 10am)

Sundays 1pm to 6:30pm (wheelchair 1:30pm)

Tuesdays 1pm to 6:30pm (wheelchair 1:30pm)

Wednesdays 9:30am to 2:30pm (shower 10am)

Fridays 1pm to 6:30pm (wheelchair 1:30pm)
