Systems Engineer - Aircraft Power Generation

ABOUT THE JOB:This position is responsible for systems design and testing of aircraft 3-phase power generators.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
  • Experience designing and/or testing aircraft power electronics including generators, inverters and converters
  • Experience/knowledge of the fundamentals of 3-phase electrical power
  • Experience in the systems engineering development process including system architecture and requirements decomposition
  • Experience with power systems testing including power protection, DO-160 and MIL-STD-704
  • Team oriented

  • Experience/familiarity working with aerospace standards DO-178, ARP 4754 and ARP 4761
  • Experience with DOORS for requirements capture and tracing
  • Strong English language written and oral communicator
