Cattle Analyst

Beef Northwest Feeders, a progressive cattle feeding operation, has a Cattle Analyst position available at our Boardman location. If you are looking for a job in agriculture that allows you to use your accounting and clerical skills, while still working with cattle, this is the job for you!

Job responsibilities include:

- Responsible for all aspects of accounting for cattle record keeping from the time they arrive to the time they ship

- Accurate data entry regarding weights, dates, shipments,

- Ability to problem solve and use basic accounting skills

- Communicate and work closely with yard employees to collect and reconcile data

- Administrative duties as needed

The ideal candidate will have an Associates degree and two years of experience working with numbers. A background in payroll, budgeting, financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable would also be helpful. Strong work ethic, and customer service and excel skills a must. Experience may substitute education.
