ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of the HR Talent Manager and in cooperation with department hiring officials develops a sourcing and recruitment plan for open positions. Plans and coordinates recruitment, screening, selection, hiring and retention activities for assigned departments/positions.Ensures all hiring processes are conducted within Federal, State, Local and Hospital guidelines.Evaluate and coordinate sourcing of top candidates who have the necessary educational background and skills to enable them to provide excellent service and quality patient care as applicable. Sourcing methods include, but are not limited to cold calling, direct mailings, advertisements, internet, job fairs, networking, social media, etc.Performance will be measured through direct observation, recruiting statistics such as time to fill, customer feedback and other goals as set by the HR Talent Manager.QualificationsEducationA Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing or related field required. An Associate’s Degree and two (2) years of progressive human resources experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.Licensure/CertificationN/AExperienceTwo (2) years of professional recruitment/headhunting experience required. Healthcare related experience preferred.Knowledge, skills, abilitiesKnowledge of various methods of candidate “sourcing”.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal, negotiation and creative problem solving skills are required.Must have excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to design, implement and coordinate various recruitment programs and special projects.Presentation skills required.Ability to work independently with little direction/supervision is also required.Must have a well-developed sense of professionalism.A strong customer service orientation is essential.Physical DemandsLong periods of sedentary work at desk and on phone. Frequent bending/stooping to open file drawers. Long periods of work at computer terminal requiring near visual acuity. Ability to move between off campus and on campus buildings/locations. Visual and auditory abilities required to conduct candidate interviews and interpret non-verbal communication elements of interview.
