Project Manager/Analyst (Distribution/Rights/Licensing) Will supporting multiple workstreams (likely 3-5 at any time) and need to be comfortable with moving fast, and partnering closely with multiple teams. Must demonstrate advanced project management knowledge across the full project lifecycle, with experience in multiple lifecycles (waterfall, package, Agile). Role REQUIRES experience with Rights Management-based systems Essential Responsibilities
  • Planning (project charter, scope, budget, and plans)
  • Day-to-day management of a technology projects
  • Frequent communication with project working groups to ensure everyone is aware of scope, action items, and project changes
  • Partner with fellow project management stakeholders
  • Lead all scrum ceremonies for the team, including product demos, stand-ups and retros
  • Effectively prioritize tasks and work streams to achieve department and business goals
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Experience eliciting and documenting system requirements and test plans.
  • Experience with project forecasting / budgets management
  • Experienced in building work-based plans and performing against baselines using MS Project
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA
  • Prior experience with the following: Knowledge of cross functional understanding of core line of business processes and value chain services (i.e. Title & Rights, Licensing, Content Management, Pricing, , Distribution, Finance AR)
  • Thorough understanding of the end-to-end product development life cycle, best practices, and project management methodologies
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to communicate effectively with customers in high-pressure situations
  • Big 4 or similar type background within Media and Entertainment
  • Must possess Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) desired but not required
  • Familiar with Agile project management practices
  • A healthy sense of humor.
  • Plenty of attention to detail.
  • Self-starter that demonstrates initiative and ability to work independently with little supervision
