- This position is for a Network Engineer at a Global organization.
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of network communications.
- Uses knowledge of LAN or MAN or WAN systems to help design and install internal and external networks.
- Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements.
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Must be well versed with the advanced engineering and administration of multiprotocol (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, ISIS) routers, multilayer switches, network security devices and network management systems
- Possesses one or more industry standard certifications including CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, etc.
- ITIL v3 studies expected
- Must be familiar with managed services concepts within an outsourcing environment.
- Tech Stack: Nexus (2K, 5K, 7K, 9K), F5 LTM or GTM, iOSxr, ASR (1K & 9K), Palo Alto, ASA, SRX
- Switching - Candidates must have experience configuring Cisco Catalyst and Nexus Switches using IO-S and NX-OS.
- Routing- Candidates must have configured network backbone across WAN network between networks redistribution with BGP and OSPF.
- EIGRP requirement is minimal for legacy environments.
- Cisco ASR: Candidates must have experience configuring with ASR or ISR Routers with BGP routing and route redistribution using IOS XR in large enterprise or ISP environments.
- Wireless, Cisco and Aruba APs and controllers.
- CCNA, CCNP, Wireless
