Project Controller The project controller is a key member of the project team and works directly with the project manager to help define the project's goals and objectives; create and maintain a project's budget and schedule, analyze progress reported against the work schedules; and recommend actions to improve progress. Responsibilities: Responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of the project Responsible for assisting in creating and tracking project budget. Responsible for updating Finance Systems for forecasting and budgeting. Responsible for updating Project Management Systems for status. Generates project reports. Demonstrates the ability to meet assigned work deadlines and priorities. Demonstrates the ability to assist in building and to follow detailed project plans. Demonstrates the ability to facilitate meetings. Demonstrates ability to resolve project scheduling issues. Manage Purchase Orders and Invoices at a detail level. Tracks all known risks. Works cooperatively and effectively with others to achieve common goals. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Information Management or related field or comparable work experience. 2-4 years' experience in project related work Strong communication skills Analytical skills/attention to detail required to ensure quality and accuracy of cost and schedule data/documentation Working knowledge of accounting practices Working knowledge in project management methodologies and tools. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Working knowledge of plan development and execution, scope planning, schedule development, cost estimating, budgeting, and control, quality planning assurance, organizational planning, communications planning, risk identification and risk response control. Working knowledge of the IT development process, including requirements gathering, analysis and design, development tools and technologies, release and version control, contemporary testing methodologies, and deployment management Preferred Qualifications: Industry experience; solid understanding of the energy industry Interested candidates please send resume in Word format to Please reference job code 73796 when responding to this ad.
