Test Engineer, Intermediate (PMRDR-20-1727-W): Candidates must have an active Secret clearance to be considered for this opportunity. Bowhead seeks an Intermediate Test Engineer to support the PM Radars contract in Yuma, AZ. The Test Engineer will support the system engineering process associated with materiel development in all phases of the weapon system life cycle across the following disciplines: test, quality, production, reliability, and product assurance. Other duties to include: • Develop and review of test plans and procedures using statistically design test methods, test planning, test execution, test oversight, and test reporting to support technical recommendations for future decisions as requested. • Preparing of Government-coordinated test plans IAW appropriate Army regulations and analysis/evaluation of test results. • Ensuring data collected from tests is adequate to support engineering, developmental, operational and acceptance test requirements. Participate in Test events typically conducted at YPG, AZ, with potential for additional testing in other geographical locations such as the White Sands Missiles Range, NM; Aberdeen Test Center, MD; Fort Huachuca, AZ; and Syracuse, NY. Requirements • Bachelors Degree in Engineering with a minimum of four years of Test Engineering experience required. Four additional years of related experience can be substituted for a Bachelors Degree. • Experience supporting the system engineering process associated with materiel development in all phases of the weapon system life cycle across the following disciplines: test, quality, production, reliability, and product assurance. • Experience developing and reviewing of test plans and procedures using statistically design test methods, test planning, test execution, test oversight, and test reporting to support technical recommendations for future decisions as requested. • Experience preparing of Government-coordinated test plans IAW appropriate Army regulations and analysis/evaluation of test results. • Experience ensuring data collected from tests is adequate to support engineering, developmental, operational and acceptance test requirements. • Participate in Test events typically conducted at YPG, AZ, with potential for additional testing in other geographical locations such as the White Sands Missiles Range, NM; Aberdeen Test Center, MD; Fort Huachuca, AZ; and Syracuse, NY. SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. ship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
