- Responsible for design and development of real time embedded software/firmware and PC/mobile based software application.
- To Analyse domain specific technical or low-level requirement and modification as per end customer or system requirement.
- Participate in high level requirements analysis, High level and low-level software design.
- Perform software testing including unit, functional and system level requirement including manual and automated.
- Performs code review following coding guidelines and static code analysis.
- Troubleshoots software problems of limited difficulty.
- Documenting technical deliverable like software specifications, design document, code commenting, test cases and test report, Release note etc. throughout the project life cycle.
- Follow defined process for software Development life cycle.
- Develops software solutions from established programming languages or by learning new language required for specific project.
- Develop new approaches to complex design problems.
- Responsible for mentoring and training juniors as per the project requirement.
- Experience in software development C and C for IOT connected devices on Linux based platforms.
- Design and Development of Network Manager WIFI station and Access Point) framework for Linux based smart home cleaning devices.
- Design and Development of various Bluetooth profiles for multiple platforms.
- Expertise in Open-Source component such as Wpa Supplicant, BlueZ.
- Experience in various Bluetooth profiles such as GAP, SPP, OPP, FTP, PBAP, A2DP, AVRCP, HFP.
- Good to have knowledge of Linux device drivers, Linux Kernel Programming, Linux Kernel Internals, Yocto / Build root, or any other build systems.
- Good to understand hardware schematic, datasheet of hardware component to derive firmware/software specific solution.
- Experience in WIFI standards IEEE 802.11.
- Experience with creating software automation tests in Python.
- Experience of working with tools such as Git, SVN, Jira.
- Experience working in a flexible agile scrum development.
