Our industry-leading client in Stamford is seeking a dedicated and motivated Project Manager with operations expertise to join their team. Lean Six Sigma certification required.Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Responsibilities of the Operations Project Manager:- Engage with project sponsor to ensure project objectives are properly defined
- Develop and assure compliance to project goals, including milestones, budget, quality, and reliability
- Manage multiple projects of significant business impact, scope, complexity, and risk
- Develop streamlined project artifacts and build effective working relationships
- Lead the proactive identification and mitigation of project risks
- Track all issues and action items to closure
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in continuous improvement/business process roles
- Experience managing business projects with the ability to meet key deadlines
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and writing skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management expertise
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Background in business process improvement
- Lean Six Sigma certification
