Job Description:The End User Computing (EUC) Architect will be responsible for the strategic design and implementation of a variety of End User Computing technologies for the company that is separating from a parent company. The EUC Lead will be the standard bearer for existing and emerging technologies facilitating the unification of end user computing (physical and virtual) platforms within the overall enterprise architecture.The EUC Lead will interface with multiple teams such as Infrastructure, Security and Application Development to design cutting-edge productivity platform for end-users. The right candidate will provide the architectural and governance leadership for planning, designing, and supporting of existing desktop services to an End User Computing model reliant on solutions fostering endpoint independence, system management for application and data, lower complexity and cost of support, and broad acceptance of standards and policies. This will also include coming up a roadmap to roll out new images to end users and working with global team during the rollout process.Experience/Qualifications:BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics.A minimum of 6 years of experience in ITA minimum of 5 years of experience delivering EUC services via a 3rd party managed services provider.Ability to communicate effectively with end-users, business owners, developers, systems engineers and various levels of management.Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills including demonstrated ability to consolidate data to provide easily understandable deliverables.Service Management oriented with strong commitment to customer service.Demonstrates initiative and the ability to accomplish aggressive project goals when necessary.Comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment and developing flexible solutions to meet evolving business requirements.Strong knowledge of design and architecture of client and server systems with a recent emphasis on virtualization and cloud.Thorough understanding of Microsoft End User Compute portfolio of products, software deployment and management, system performance tuning and monitoring including security, encryption, policy management, Active Directory integration, systems programming, automation and scripting.Demonstrated ability to deliver detailed technical documentation.Technical skills required including:Windows 10 design, architecture and deployment methodologies, Deployment tool kit, powershell scripting.SCCMExperience with architecting, deploying and supporting Microsoft Modern Management platforms including InTune, SCCM Cloud Management Gateway, Windows AutopilotThere are few MAC OS systems and experience to handle that also will be an added advantage.
