ResponsibilitiesWe are actively searching for qualified candidates for this potential opening. We do not have assurance at this time that the position will be opened and when. This position is contingent upon contract award. An Active Secret clearance is requiredPerspecta is seeking Cost Analyst with a DoD Secret Clearance at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.
  • Tasks include the development and maintenance of POEs utilizing automated cost modeling software, the development of cost savings initiatives, the management of program costs and requirements against the Acquisition Program Baseline (APB), affordability determinations, and earned value management (EVM).
  • Provide input for Operations and Support (O&S) cost reduction analyses, cost risk evaluation, and PPBE preparation efforts.

Qualifications
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Experience with cost estimating and case analysis of programs and applicable DoD Directives, Army regulations, and policies
  • Experience with maintaining POEs utilizing automated cost modeling software, development of cost savings initiatives, management of program costs and requirements against the Acquisition Program Baseline (APB), affordability determinations, and earned value management (EVM).
  • Experience with Operations and Support (O&S) cost reduction analyses, cost risk evaluation, and PPBE preparation efforts.
  • Certifications: DAWIA Level III Certification in Cost Estimating or equivalent
  • Bachelor's in Business, Operations Research or at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics.
  • A minimum of three (3) years experience as a Cost Analyst is required
    • Substitutions: Four (4) additional years of related experience can be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree

The successful candidate and possess and maintain a DOD Secret Security Clearance, as a qualification and condition for employment. For Colorado Residents
