Title: Sourcing Analyst

Location: West Point, PA

Duration: 12 months

Qualification:Required experience: Minimum of (2) years relevant work experience; managing PO's, project management, invoicing, integrating/analyzing data, data transformations & manipulations in Microsoft Excel. Sourcing experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment with a diverse group of stakeholders. Comfortable working with IT tools and applications such as SpotFire, SAP (ECC), Microsoft Office, Teams, Pipeline Pilot. Adept at both data entry as well as developing tracking/reporting outputs. Preferred Experience: Scientifically conversant in basic biology and pharmacology principles, with Large Pharma Scientific research background/industry experience. Mgr is seeking someone with experience with major pharma biotech/pharma companies or consumer medical. Would like the resource to have an understanding of the types of work that is being outsourced, that they are managing the PO process for. Change management experience. Experience authoring Standard Operating Guidelines/ Procedures (SOGs, SOPs). Prior experience working in an environment with responsibilities for handling confidential information. Experience contributing to process improvement efforts aimed at streamlining operations or business infrastructure. About you - You are a collaborative, highly organized with excellent attention to detail and follow-through. You have a proven track-record of being able to handle a high volume of transactional work with both fidelity and efficiency . You are able to prioritize work effectively and relate daily tasks to larger project deliverables and departmental objectives. You are driven, self-motivated and would consider yourself a quick learner and someone who can "hit the ground running". You are flexible, adaptable and have an overall positive, can do attitude. You are not afraid to afraid to speak up, ask questions and share your ideas!

Responsibilities: This cross-functional support position will be directly accountable to the broader Quantitative Biosciences (QB) Operations team, and will also interface with other stakeholders in Finance and Procurement to ensure that Purchase Orders (POs) are generated to initiate external work, and that invoices are reconciled for payment in a policy-compliant manner. The responsibilities of this position will extend to utilizing a suite of IT applications and Financial systems to track open requisitions and monitor payments. In addition, it is expected that the successful candidate will develop sufficient expertise in these tools and processes to be able to effectively troubleshoot issues, propose solutions for workflow improvements, and document best practices, including the authorship of Standard Operating Guidelines (SOGs). Candidate will start with invoicing approvals then dive more into the full PO process; how to manage the PO, project management and how to achieve the milestone, completing a payment into the full lifecycle. Team will then carve out categories of work as team is currently structured by types of services/requests they support. 1-year assignment Local to West Point
