Maintenance Position

Are you a jack of all trades? An established community in the Chester area is looking for a maintenance technician to join our small team. We are looking for a motivated self-starter who can efficiently tackle a variety of jobs, often without supervision, which require the following knowledge and skills:

Drywall/Finishing

Plumbing

Carpentry

Small engine repair

Cabinet installation and repair

Flooring installation and repair

Painting, both interior and exterior

Heavy equipment operation

In-ground pool maintenance

Landscaping

Electrical work

Appliance repair

Trash removal

Water and sewage system maintenance

Wastewater treatment plant operation

Tree work

General construction and mechanical work

Any other maintenance activities as directed by community manager or maintenance supervisor

This is a full time position, 8:00a-4:30p Monday-Friday. OT will be expected when necessary. Would need to be "on-call" every other weekend for emergencies in the community.

Compensation is based on experience. Our company also offers the following:

Overtime potential (as-needed basis)

1 week paid vacation after 1 year of employment

All candidates must have a valid Virginia driver's license, reliable transportation due to the on-call nature of the position, and must be able to pass a criminal background check. Ability to speak Spanish would be a plus.
