Job Description
Daily Tasks:Organize daily orders to insure correct on-time shipping.
Communicate with various departments on varying topics related to shipping/warehousing.
Work closely with planning team to achieve 100% customer satisfaction and zero customer incidents.
Verify availability of material required for shipment completion.
Proactively conduct analysis in warehouse systems to identify reasons behind potential shipment delays and execute corrective action.
Communicate to warehouse personnel all shipping requirements.
Other Workplace Considerations:Lifting products/materials up to 40 pounds in weight.
Standing, walking, bending and twisting, as required to complete job tasks.
Must be willing to work a first shift and extended hours, including Saturdays, as needed.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- 1+ years of warehousing experience.
- 1+ years of customer service experience.
- 1+ years of Microsoft Office Applicationsexperience.(Word,Outlook, Excel,etc.)
- Shipping experience.
- Proficient in English language. (Read and write)
- Good computer skills and keyboard proficiency.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Warehouse management systems such as SAP, AS400, Red Prairie, etc.
