Unit Supervisor II

3rd shift position, 8:30 pm to 5:00 am with OT as needed. This posting is the same manager/details from JDJP00025037 - please submit NEW candidates. Contingent will be coordinating, scheduling, and providing leadership to hourly wage employees on non-routine and self-directed tasks required to meet safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency objectives. Required:• Production supervisory experience minimum of 1 year, 3-5 preferred• MS Office experience, including Excel. Nice to have:• Mechanical experience or Engineering background.• Looking for candidates comfortable with leading hourly employees and working in a factory environment. Safety shoes with internal metatarsal protection required. Business casual dress code. Position will interview and start onsite immediately. No driving required for this position. Visa sponsorship is not available, now or in the near future, for this position. Is responsible for achieving departmental/area goals and objectives. Supervises production, maintenance and/or warehouse employees in operations or processes requiring semi-skilled to unskilled employees to ensure that the goals of the department and organization are achieved. The supervisor is the first- line liaison between the production employees and the management staff and thus also serves the function of representing the company's interests with the shop floor staff.
