Job Description As an OBIEE Data Analyst you will work to understand customer needs and requests, validate solutions, and define and create architectural depictions and documents to ensure seamless integration and address all customer priorities. You will collaborate with ETL Developers, Database Administrators, Data and Business Analysts, as needed, to develop OBIEE dashboards using Data Visualizer (DV). You will serve as a mentor and teach other members of the development team OBIEE DV best practices. You will actively participate in the full System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analysis, planning, implementation, testing, documentation, and operations for routine and ad-hoc developer activities within an Agile delivery approach that supports incremental development of high-quality, fully tested application component delivery. You will analyze the technical aspects involved in any change management processes relevant to report requirements. You will analyze existing/legacy systems architecture or data for integration and provide a recommended design to improve the stability, reliability, and availability. You will utilize advanced data analysis skills to explain business issues and financial implications. You will leverage broad knowledge across the organization to address business issues. You will identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences. You will identify and drive high impact process change or workflow improvements. You will rive identified business initiatives and project delivery. You will identify and propose remediation to cross domain process and data issues. You will serve as a mentor and teach other members of the development team OBIEE DV best practices.Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
  • Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to
  • Bachelors - Accounting or Bachelor of Analytics, or Bachelor of Finance, or Bachelor of Mathematics, or Bachelor of Statistics, or Bachelor of Supply Chain Management, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least five years of Business Analytics experience
  • At least one year of Oracle Data Visualization Desktop experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in data warehousing, data modeling, data conversion, data integration, data migration, ETL process and/or business intelligence
  • Experience with some or all of the following languages/tools/systems/environments (specified versions or higher):
    • Hadoop, Spark or other data analytics tools
    • Oracle Database 12c
    • Oracle Business Intelligence 11g/12c
    • Oracle Data Visualization Desktop
  • Experience with large-scale system deployment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to facilitate and coordinate efforts with key government and non-government stakeholders
  • Self-starter that can work under general direction in a highly collaborative, team-based environment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
  • Experience with Jira
  • Previous Department of Veterans Affairs experience

Expectations
  • Willing to travel up to 20% as needed
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
