Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Data Warehouse ETL Developer who designs and writes the scripts required to extract, transform and load (ETL) data as defined in the data mapping. The ETL Developer should understand both transactional and dimensional ETL. Data Warehouse ETL Developer responsibilities are: Automate and streamline business workflow processes. Create and manage sophisticated SQL Service Integration Services (SSIS), ETL jobs and schedules. Develop ETL processes, including logic for data cleansing and data aggregation. Work with the Business and System Analysts and Data Modelers to resolve issues with requirements. Adapt ETL processes to accommodate change in source systems and new business requirements. Mitigate operational ETL risks and issues. Data Warehouse ETL Developer requirements are: Years Skills/Experience 5 Complex SQL ETL development with stored procedures and expressions, applying data integrity rules, efficient error handling techniques, and developing low-level change history audit logs 5 ETL design and development using MS SSIS control and data flow, data source, and package configurations 5 Hands-on experience with data warehouse technologies and concepts in data extraction, data cleansing, data mapping, data transformation, data loading and data validation rules 5 Developing standard operating procedures, solution design documents, data mapping documents, and technical diagrams 5 Dimensional modeling and design following the Kimball methodology to data warehouse development 5 Data engineering for business intelligence and business analytics 5 Design and development of operational data stores 5 Development of reports and dashboards 5 Experience with the Erwin Data modeling tool 5 MS Project or comparable project management tool Strong Experience working independently with minimal supervision; ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and directional changes under short and firm deadlines Strong Strong analytical, trouble shooting and problem-solving skills in data related projects Strong Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all project stakeholders, including executive leadership, business subject area leaders, and project staff. Excellent written and oral communication, facilitation, and presentation skills Strong Advanced interpersonal skills: adept at quickly developing healthy relationships and ascertaining how to work with a variety of individuals at all levels. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work-related experience
